Vertical integration and expansion
 
Here, Third Coast designed and implemented an on-the-ground expansion of this joint-venture fabricator of building materials into a turnkey construction and contracting concern, and a certified distributor of Western-produced construction-related products in China.  The company became an integrated producer of building materials, a turnkey builder of facilities to global specifications, and an authorized representative in north China for producers of specialty-coated steel and aluminum, insulation, and pre-manufactured door and window systems, among others. 

 

 
In addition, a separate trading company was created to offer China market support services (including field research and entry strategy development) to companies within and outside of the construction and building products industries.
